Over the weekend, my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Port Hope, Ontario to see a friend and we played #ontariotourists for the day. Although it is not even an hour from where we live, I find it amazing to discover charm close to home. I’ve been to Port Hope many times before, but never took the time to lazily wander the main streets and peruse the shops and stopping in for treats as if we are in the streets of Paris. It was just missing the cobblestone 😉
Over the next couple weeks, I will be posting about a few places that I adored while there. Check in to see my reviews and #shoplocal in your own small towns around the world.
Carlyle Inn & Bistro
Stopped in at Dreamer’s Cafe, which is luck would have it, is Parisian Themed!
These delicious pastries reminded me of the ‘pain au chocolat” in France.
