Locating your Dream Item from an Image you Found?

Hilary Spencer Creative Photography

We’ve all been there.  We found something on Pinterest, but there is no link attached and you have no idea how to find it.  Whether the perfect wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, invitation, wedding favour… You name it!  Google Images and Pinterest sometimes tease brides in showing them an image, but not having any way of locating it.

Doesn’t that suck? (Pardon my language, mom.)

Well, I wouldn’t just bring up this issue without a solution for you fabulously creative brides!  I came across this beauty of a website in my research (yes, I literally research new ideas, inspirations and things to make wedding planning easier for you ladies!).  Which is why you should check in often and see what I have updated.

But back to the solution!

It’s a website that I found called The Hunt which is a community that tracks down the items that you seek from photos you admire. The website allows you to post a photo of what you’re looking for and get personalized shopping suggestions from other readers.  Pretty neat huh?

Did you also know that Google allows you to “Search by Image“?.  Yes, empty and dead-end links uploaded with images of your dream item on Google Images is sometimes the start of the problem, but Google, in a fantastic way, is also offering a solution!  You can drag and drop the photo you love and Google with search the internet for anything relating to that image.  Amazing.

These solutions help my creative brides follow through with their online inspirations, even if they are presented with a bump in the road to achieve exactly what they want.  I am always looking for ways to help all of you, so I would love to hear from you!  Have you found other useful ways to find your dream inspiration?  Have you tried these options?  Let me know what you think.

Happy Searching!
